Finally there is a keyboard for iPad which you can just put in your pocket and take with you anywhere you want without a need of a bulky keyboard case. Zagg has noticed the demand for this and released ZaggKeys Flex tablet keyboard and stand. This is a major development from the original ZaggKeys Solo version.

This is a universal keyboard which will work for both iOS and Android devices including not only tablets but also smartphones. (Newly released Amazon Kindle Fire is an exception because it has no Bluetooth) First of all, this keyboard and accompanying case (with stand functionality) is one of the best designs I have seen for many months. This is the reason it grabbed a Honoree prize at CES Innovation awards for Design & Engineering Showcase section this year.
As you can check from the following official Zagg demonstration video for Zaggkeys Flex, it is really easy and flexible to use it. Just open the case, take the keyboard, pair with the device very fast using Bluetooth technology and turn the case into a stand in a second. The stand will suit any device with any sizes.
Zagg states that rechargeable battery power is enough for months until the next full charge. This is a very big positive against other keyboard models from different brands which will drain the battery much faster.
This keyboard also features customized keys to bring the main functions of iOS or Android. Although the keys are smaller a bit and noisy, it is not disturbing. Thanks to island-style keys construction, typing on the ZaggKeys Flex keyboard is easy.

As a blogger and gadget reviewer, I see great usage in ZaggKeys Flex for my iPad 2 if you write a lot on your tablet (or smartphones surely). Quite portable, lightweight solution.
