The Verbatim Wireless Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard for the iPad2 is a very portable bluetooth keyboard. It is compatible with iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch as well. My main reason for purchasing this keyboard on Amazon was the fact that it folds up for easy transport while traveling.

I spend quite a bit of time on the road and this is very important to me, and the Verbatim Keyboard certainly does not disappoint. I can literally carry this around in my front pocket. The range seems good as I haven’t had any trouble with reception. I did have some trouble getting it set up, as I never bother to read the directions. Fortunately I did a little research online and got it set up and working. The directions were indeed very clear. I just didn’t read them.

Although it is very portable and I can carry it anywhere, there are some things that a bit makes me restless about this iPad 2 keyboard. The major negative of which is the fact that some of the keys are not full size do to their proximity to the center hinges. This may not be a problem for some, but I have large fingers and typing on a smaller keyboard is not so easy enough without odd size keys in the middle of the keyboard. Also, those hinges do feel a bit flimsy and I could definitely see them giving way in the future.

All in all this is a very portable keyboard, but due to my concerns about the build quality, it may not be something I would purchase again. Instead, I would recommend Logitech iPad 2 keyboard which triples as an aluminum case and stand.
